Pierre St Jacques is a Grand Prix rider, trainer, and instructor. Pierre has been riding and training horses for over 20 years and began his dressage training with Carol Lavell. He now regularly trains with former United States Equestrian Team coach, Klaus Balkenhol. Pierre is known for his ability to successfully train difficult, yet talented horses, and bring them to their full potential. He is also known for his work with stallions.

In 2003, Pierre and his horse, Lucky Tiger, were 5th in the Intermediare I Championships and won a spot on the USA Pan American Team. They went on to win the team gold at the 2003 Pan American games held in the Dominican Republic. They were also the top placed US rider in the Intermediare I. In 2003, 2004 and 2005, Pierre went to Germany and spent 3 month each year training with Klaus Balkenhol, former coach of the US Equestrian team.

The success continued for Pierre and Lucky Tiger in 2009 with wins at Grand Prix at the Zada Cup, Dressage on the First Coast, and the Lamplight CDI. Pierre and Lucky Tiger were also National Reserve Champions at Grand Prix at the Collecting Gaits Farm National Finals in Gladstone, New Jersey. The 2010 season is starting well for the pair, starting with being selected by the USEF to represent the United States at the Exquis World Dressage Masters in February and finishing 4th. Pierre and Lucky Tiger continue their work this year to qualify for the Alltech FEI 2010 World Equestrian Games.
